A while ago the Parish Council was gifted a cartoon/painting by a lady from Buckinghamshire after she found the item in her deceased father's attic. She knows nothing about it except that her father was a top-class boot and shoe maker. The motor car in the cartoon has "Burton Overy Express" on its side and the huntsman driver is wearing some expensive looking boots. Perhaps Burton Overy has a long lost history in boot making?
