The event for 2018 was an Old Time Music Hall evening, which took place on Saturday 23rd June. The event was once again a sell out and started off with drinks and canapes on the Rectory lawn. Most got into the spirit of the event and there were some fantastic costumes to be seen, especially the extravagant hats. Following on from the reception, the party moved to the village hall where they were entertained with a Music Hall Night to remember. All performers were from the village, once again proving what a talented bunch we are. Barbara Lloyd did a fantastic job directing and holding it all together. The Buffet supper was delicious as always. Everyone joined in and got into the spirit of the raucous Old Time Musical Event.

It is due to the hard work of the Village Performers, the Village Hall Social Committee and the fantastic Catering and Waiters that make this such a popular fund raiser for the village hall. Of course it would not be such a success without the support of the Village audience and their friends who give great support

2017 saw a Murder Mystery Theatre performed by the villagers and directed by Barbara Lloyd. The production was entitled Blood Money, a play with eight characters. Eight of the richest people in the world came to Greenback Towers for a once-in-a-lifetime business meeting. Those in the cast threw themselves fully into their respective roles with often hilarious results. It was our most popular event ever held in the village hall and was a complete sellout
